NASCIO 2016: ‘May the Fourth’ Be with These Conference Attendees

State tech execs took to Twitter to turn conference quotes into Star Wars–related fun. Warned, you have been.

The Internet on Wednesday celebrated Star Wars Day, a pseudo-holiday commemorating the Star Wars movie franchise. The date — May the fourth — is a pun on the films’ iconic phrase, “May the Force be with you.”

The National Association of State Chief Information Officers decided to have some fun with the day, encouraging attendees at the 2016 NASCIO Midyear Conference in Baltimore to tweet quotes from the conference to the hashtag #NASCIO16, but with a Star Wars twist.

Tweets could either reference famous lines from the movie or be written in the distinctive speech of Jedi Master Yoda. Here are some of the best:
