• Understand impact on business: Make sure that optimization efforts won't negatively impact regular operations.
• Educate Your Users: Keep users and customers up to date on any impacts they might face as a result of any data center optimization efforts.
• Future-Proof the Infrastructure: Avoid building a static model. Look forward, because these data centers will be in place for the next five to ten years.
