Smarter Government: El Paso, Texas, Connects Unhoused People with Resources
Nicole Ferrini, climate and sustainability officer for the city of El Paso, Texas, was on a mission to give unhoused people access to the resources they need. So, she focused on what many of them already have access to: internet-connected devices. With help from Cisco, she led the creation of El Paso Helps. This online portal connects unhoused citizens with government services in just one or two clicks.
